could be better July 23, 2010 patricia gorecki (Westland, MI, US) It will get the powerball to work sometimes but could definatly have more power. Made very cheaply. You still have to work to get it to speed up.
Great Value & Very Helpful Tool May 9, 2010 M. Holts (Olympia WA USA) I had been using the Dynaflex as part of my physical therapy to work on grip and arm strength. But therapy ended and I wanted to continue using the product. However, it is difficult to 'launch' it via the old string and pull method. The docking station makes it so much easier! Just set it on there, make sure it's lined up properly, push the button, wait maybe 30 seconds, take it off & go. Runs on 2 AA batteries so it's always good to go at a moment's notice. Best investment ever, especially because I have somewhat limited mobility in my hands. And the price here is the best I found: other places charge over $20 and up.
I wish it worked better!!!!!!!! March 22, 2010 Leif (MA) It might be me but I can only get my PowerBall working maybe 1 out of 10 times with the Docking Station. It seems that the wheel will not stay straight on the PowerBall and the motor is not strong enough to turn the ball fast enough. The powerball I have is a little heavier than most. This docking station may work ok on the lighter ones. Sooner or later I will get the trick to getting my PowerBall started, I hope.
Dock Station, great for friends March 1, 2010 Joey R. Morgan (OC) I bought the docking station just so I can have it around for my friends who would want to try it, that way I wouldnt have to constantly start it up with my thumb. It works great!! My friends never have a problem getting the gyro started now that I have this, infact alot of them go out and buy it since people now have the choice to have this handy tool with them to get it started. I recommend this to anyone who finds that they cant get the gyro started with the string or their thumb. I know sometimes the ball can spin out of alignment with the dock wheel, but I find that a quick fix for that is holding the ball just slightly off dock station so the wheel is touching the ball just enough so it still spins the ball, that usually helps prevent the ball from spinning out of alignment.
DynaFlex Docking Station Review - J. Mike Larsen February 11, 2010 James M. Larsen (Salt Lake City, Utah) I ordered two docking stations because I thought it would be nice to have two in case one brakes down. I have been pleasently surprise at how well they perform. It took me awhile to master the DynaFlex and keep it going but now with the docking stations it starts right up. I could never get the DyanFlex going with my hand or thumb like the vedio shows and I could see that the starting it all the time with the little shoe string was going to wear out fast so the docking stations do the trick.
