These weights are not as comfortable as I hoped they would be. They have stretch bands to make them more adjustable (I assume), but the stretchiness causes them to move around too much. The bands on these things are really long. Unless you have extremely large thighs the velcro will have to fasten against the blue band, instead of the matching half of the velcro strip. Yet, because the band is stretchy, the weights pull these down easily. So, you have to pull them tighter in order to keep them from falling off.
They're a bit of a hassle, but I still use them for regular squats, etc. I wouldn't try to do jump squats or any other plyometric movements in these things. They'll slide right down!
When I purchased these, I thought they were 6 pounds each, but they're actually 6 pounds total weight (3 pounds each). I've only used them at the full weight capacity, so I don't know if they move less if you have less weight in them.
