BEST PEDOMETER -- EVER!!! July 25, 2010 Laura Boyer (Montrose, CO) If you're looking for a pedomoter that just keeps track of your steps, then this is the pedometer for you! This keeps track of the last 7 days -- automatically! Once you set the time on the pedometer, all you have to do is put it on and go -- no resetting required! This pedometer is a "no-brainer" -- especially when you don't need all of the other "fancy" things that come with today's pedometers. The only setup required is the time -- everything else is automatic!
This is actually my second one, as the first one fell in the toilet as I was cleaning it! Now I have a little "pedometer lanyard" that I attach to my pants so that will never happen again!
Pedometer Gift July 7, 2010 Mom Purchased three of these as gifts for 70+ year old parents. Very easy to setup and use.
Amazing Little Device July 6, 2010 Hart This hip-pedometer is by far the best I've ever owned. My previous pedometers lacked accuracy and seemed very flaky (they were lagging in technology, which may not be a bad thing but in this case was, as they were inaccurate to sometimes a large degree). This pedometer's "counting" mechanism seems to be a bit more advanced as it is not simply a small ball moving inside the pedometer - There is no "clicking" sound as it counts.
The reset feature is the most helpful feature to me. There is no reset button on the device, so there cannot be any accidental reset of your total steps. This was a problem for me with my other pedometers. This device simply resets itself at midnight, every day (it contains a digital clock on its screen, which is also pretty handy). Also, it does not accidentally count ordinary movements as steps - it does this by only counting consecutive movement that has maintained for at least 4 seconds. After 4 seconds, it continues the count until your movement has stopped. If the movement is less than 4 seconds long, it simply displays that no steps were taken.
All in all, this pedometer is VERY solid. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in an accurate pedometer with no reset button.
Does Just What I Want June 28, 2010 Jackie (Seattle, WA, USA) I only need a pedometer to do two things for me: (1) Count steps accurately, (2) Stay clipped to my belt. This one fits the bill perfectly. I've several other pedometers in the past which had a lot more fancy features but they were flaky on counting steps consistently. I've had this one a couple of months and it's been just fine.
Everything I needed... June 25, 2010 Jazz This is the best pedometer that I have found. It is easy to use; automatically starts at "0" steps at the beginning of each day; stores the number of steps for the previous 7 days; displays large numbers; size is compact, the clip is snug so it doesn't fall off when attached to clothing, and is flat so it fits nicely inside a pocket or on a waist band. I have bought several for gifts and everyone really likes its features! You can't go wrong with this one if you need basic features. A happy customer!
