Amazon.com Product Description The recumbent RX7 exercise bike combines all of the features of a high-end stationary bike with an adjustable high-back comfort seat, making it an ideal workout accessory for people of all ages and fitness levels. The bike is equipped with Kettler's eSYS system, which allows for perfect ergonomic, biomechanical, and electronic adjustments for everyone from novices to experts. The eSYS system--in conjunction with the company's Induktions Braking System--supports up to 75 resistance levels, with an adaptable manual or programmable 25- to 400-watt electromagnetic resistance range. These friction-free resistance levels let you challenge yourself at every turn, whether you're trying to simulate a flat straightaway or a tough hill climb. Adding to its workout versatility, the RX7 offers 48 preset programs on its programmable training computer, including such programs as pulse-directed training programs, preset pulse ranges, and fat burning and fitness zones. The programs are easily controlled by the redesigned Siemens electronics, which are calibrated for their easy menu guidance, high-resolution LCD display, and clear legibility. Perhaps the best feature for users, however, is the recumbent frame design, which offers a low step-through structure that makes it easy to mount and dismount the bike. The recumbent frame is ideal for people with bad backs, people who are rehabbing from injury, and other users who have trouble with traditional upright bikes. Other features include a powder-coated frame with bike-brake release levers that allow you to adjust the seat while remaining seated; heavy-duty transport casters and levelers; a wireless Polar T34 heart rate transmitter; and an Easy Com reading that allows the rider to start immediately or walk through the operations step by step.
