Product Description This MiR Weighted vest comes with a full set of weights that can be adjusted from 3 to 60lbs to increase the resistance adeptness. For the purpose of weight loss, the removable weights are located high on the torso to protect the stomach from pounding as you run and also is delicate to the whole body while exercising. The vest is made of heavy-duty 1200D reinforced nylon, featuring double padded shoulders for added comfort, and mesh vented inside for breath ability. The padding is designed to be contoured to your shoulder for maximum comfort. The MiR Weighted Vests are completely adjustable for even more comfort. There are two adjustable straps that can be adjusted underneath so you can easily adjust the body length of the vest by sliding the straps up and down through the D-rings. To adjust the weight level, remove or transfer the weights from the packets which secure the weights with the durable Velcro weight closures. MIR SECURE STRAP not included.

Physical Fitness August 18, 2010 TC I love this vest. Adjust the weight to make it more challenging or lighten the load. Well worth the money spent. Very durable and continues to provide challenges to all my workouts.
Good strength training device. August 5, 2010 J. Janiszewski (USA) Owned since: August 2009
Good: Highly adjustable weight, solid construction, emergency quick release, fast delivery, elasticity accommodates breathing, good weight distribution.
Bad: Will chafe if not worn with and undershirt, uncomfortable on shoulders for extended periods of time, will ride up if you are inverted or your legs are elevated (push ups).
I have been pleased with this vest. It is a great way to augment push-ups and pull-ups and can make sprint drills more interesting. The additional weight can also be used to put a bit of an edge on a hike.
I would recommend this to a friend.
MIR 50 pound vest November 25, 2009 A. Weigel 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this vest and it arrived in about 8 days which I am happy with considering I live overseas and it was shipped to a APO address. The weights are excellent quality along with the vest itself. The only issue is that the clip on the strap broke as soon as I put it on to adjust it to my size. The good news is the strap does have Velcro on it so it should hold until I replace the clip.
MIR 50 LBS Short Vest November 21, 2009 B. Golz (San Antonio, TX USA) The quality and workmanship of this product is first-case. I looked at other manufactures of weight vests, but after reading some reviews of the MIR vest, I decided to purchase it instead. If there was an improvement to be made, it would be how the bottom strap of the weight vest is adjusted. Part of the adjustment is made on the back-side of the vest, which is slightly difficult to do if you are the one doing it while it is on you. You have to use this adjustment in order to get the strap to the approximate size of your chest. Once you're within the approximate size of your chest, this strap can be adjusted on the front of the vest.
The weight vest can be used for several exercises, including walking, or exercises such as squats, setups, or just bending over to the floor. The benefit to the short vest is that it just goes as low as your the bottom of your rib cage, so you can wear it to get extra resistance for set-ups or other exercises that involve your abdominals.
Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a weight vest.
Sturdy, hard on the shoulders November 21, 2009 Steven C. Kosa (Kansas City, MO) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Sturdy construction. Weights easy to remove/replace. not suited for longer workouts at higher weights as it is very uncomfortable on the traps. Needs more padding. Better suited for shorter workouts.
